We would like to express our deepest gratitude to everyone who helped with the 16th Suzuki Method World Convention.
On March 31, 2013, we closed the 16th Suzuki Method World Convention which was held in Matsumoto from March 27.
Due to the wonderful service and cooperation of those involved in the World Convention, we believe it was a great success.
And we would like to thank everyone of you for your assistance.
The 16th Suzuki Method World Convention was the largest convention ever held.
We had 5,400 participants from 35 countries and areas. We greatly appreciate the support from the administrators of Nagano Prefecture and Matsumoto City, and Matsumoto citizens to receive and accommodate this many participants.
We have been receiving many words of thanks from participants from various countries.
Examples of some of the things that have been said are; “My own spirit was surrounded by Dr. Suzuki’s great spirit.”,
“It was a wonderful experience.” and “ I enjoyed the World Convention very much.”. Hearing these comments has been very pleasing.
“For the happiness of all children in the world”.
We hope that by returning to the point of origin, the point where the Suzuki Method was established by Dr. Shinichi Suzuki in Matsumoto in 1946, this World Convention will form a new stepping stone that will lead the future development of the Suzuki Method throughout the world. And we would be most happy if through this the world will be one, joined together by children's music.
As each one of you return to your homes within Japan and in various countries throughout the world, please reconfirm "Dr. Suzuki's Spirit" and the "Educational System of the Suzuki Method". And please help to spread this spirit and develop this educational method throughout the world.
We are looking forward to seeing you again in “Matsumoto” in the near future.
Thank you very much again for your great support of the 16th Suzuki Method World Convention.
